Very happy for all of you! Looks like a great crowd and a wonderful afternoon. Can wait to read the book.

I will be packaging your book today and shipping on Monday, Dawn. Wish you could have been with us in person.

Me too. Had the day off but we were so busy with the dog thing...would not have been there in time.

So much happening in Northport! Like the picture of both of you. Like Dawn, wish I was there.

Very cool. I did get to hear him interviewed on the radio.

Wish you could have been there, too, Kathy—and you, as well, dmarks. Other writers and book personalities were in the audience at the bookstore on Friday, including Dr. Kenneth Wylie (AN ENCHANTING DARKNESS: THE AMERICAN VISION OF AFRICA IN THE TWENTIETH CENTURY), Robert Pisor (THE END OF THE LINE: THE SIEGE OF KHE SANH), Dr. Amanda Holmes (OMENA, A PLACE IN TIME: A SESQUECENTENNIAL HISTORY, 1852-2002), Sarah Shoemaker, a.k.a. S. K. Wolf (LONG CHAIN OF DEATH), and our very own Dean Robb (subject of DEAN ROBB: AN UNLIKELY RADICAL, by Matthew Z. Robb). There were also a few others from whom I expect books in the future, but I won’t embarrass them by mentioning their names—yet! (You know who you are!) Yes, my little Dog Ears can hold up its head when it comes to literary lights.
