Driving Me Crazy

This image from the 2007 archives is my attempt at hanging onto visual sanity. Not only do I have a growing pile of beautiful new fall photos that I can't upload at present, but migraines have interrupted all work and pleasure twice in one week. One consolation is that I'll have a huge backlog of color images to post when the landscape goes black and white.

OK, here's the deal. I'll pile the laptop, some flash drives, some Mosley surprises, assorted Antrim County taste treats and the Disreputable Duo into the car and wend my way to Northport. We must get those photos uploaded - two migraines in one week is easily one too many. (Don't worry--we'll call Dog Ears first, and if you get the problem resolved we'll still bring the surprises and treats.)

Gerry, you gave me a big laugh! It's only my insecurity with venturing out of familiar ways of doing things that keeps me blocked, probably. My laptop seems terminal, and David's doesn't have Photoshop, and I need to downsize photos before posting. That's the problem in a nutshell. But you see, I am still able to get online, and I've had my head out from under the covers all day today. BUT--it would be fun to have a face-to-face visit from you, after all our virtual chats!

I'm ready to drive to Northport also - just seeing you and taking photos together would help! Besides, Bosco misses Sarah and Arlo and he's ready for the rides despite having trouble with carsickness.

Deborah, you and Mother and Bosco? What a trip! Who else would like to come? We have sunshine this (Thursday) morning, with more sunshine expected through the weekend, and what a wonderful way to wrap up the fall, with a drive to Northport! If anyone comes on Friday, come in costume: late Halloween afternoon and early evening in Northport there is good trick-or-treating, a village party, and a haunted house up at school. Do come for the fun!
