Sarah-Kona, Kona-Sarah
Sarah loves her neighbor dog pal, Kona, so much that the two of them remind me of the two girls in the books by Maud Hart Lovelace, playmates who were so constantly together that they were called by a single name: "Betsy-Tacy!" Betsy, Tacy and Tib - my favorite childhood reading! Sarah and Kona look like great friends together. Watching dogs romp together is joy made visible.
Isn't it wonderful? Their joy is contagious, too. Who can watch dogs playing and not laugh out loud?
