Sarah is a wader, not a swimmer. She likes her feet firmly on Mother Earth. We didn't force the issue (too far). After a couple of reluctant dog paddles and reassurance from her dog mom, she was happy to remain in shallow water with the dog dad (photographer of the event) while I took my first swim of the season. It was glorious! Thank you, rain, for holding off!
