Sarah's Sunday
Sarah went to Traverse City with us. The three of us sat out on Front Street in front of Horizon Books, David and I enjoying coffee and sunshine and all of us taking in the passing scene. Then we had a walk downtown, followed by a drive through the country, interrupted by a country walk. Here are a few snapshots from Sarah's day. What do you think she enjoyed most?
Did she notice the caramel apples in a shop window on Front Street?
Was she intrigued by divers in the Boardman River?
Were cattle in a pasture the most fascinating sight of the day?
It probably wasn’t the old stone barn foundation that she’ll be dreaming of tonight.
How about the heady freedom of exploring a new two-track for the very first time?
Was this quiz too easy?

I'm thinking she's looking pretty engaged in that last photo...though prior to getting to that one I figured it was the cows! :)
Definitely an easy quiz! Thanks for sharing Sarah's day which sounded delightful. That photo of cattle is absolutely amazing. It looks too real to be a photo.
She WAS pretty interested in those cattle, Dawn, but she had to stay in the car, so I think they'd come in #2. Deborah, I have some more cattle photos and may put up one or two on the other blog.
I assumed the cows had gone down the two-track and Sarah was moseying after them! They are handsome cows, but the divers awaken my curiosity. What do you suppose they were looking at?
Sarah will not have a chance to herd any cows that are not mine! She has no experience and has had no training!
There were a couple of divers, and David and I thought it looked like an interesting place to explore. Neither of us has any desire to go way under the ocean with air tanks and hoses, but finning down a little Michigan river is an attractive idea, more our speed. Pretending to be a fish!
A two track is paradise to anyone who loves to spend time on the land. I think Sarah liked the two-track. Although there are lots of sites to see in TC a two track has tons of smells, bugs, chipmunks, squirrels, other animals and wildflowers.
Yes, Anishinaabekwe, Sarah and I both love two tracks and unpaved roads and trails through the woods. We're lucky to have all of those here in the lower peninsula, too, and not only on our vacations in the U.P.
I've added you to my blog list. Did you see? A couple of others hadn't had new posts in two or three months, and I like to change things out once in a while. So welcome!
