All Sarah and Lake Michigan
My first plan this morning was to do a photo potluck—all kinds of little odds and ends from the past couple of weeks, along with some interesting links people have shared with me. Then Sarah and I went to Peterson Park. We had a wonderful time. And I asked myself which my handful of readers and viewers would prefer, miscellany or Sarah. The answer seemed clear. Was I wrong?
I love this post - thanks! Brought smile and happinessseeing Sarah having such fun. I know it did the same for you Pamela. Aren't our dogs just wonderful?
Sarah is so wonderful that our bookstore-angel-but-not-a-dog-person Bruce observed the other day, "She is pretty intelligent, isn't she?" My jaw dropped. "Are you saying my dog is smart?!" Yes, I love to see her happy.
Sarah loves sticks. She doesn't care for swimming but enjoys the water, and she loves exploring and following her own agenda. I wanted to put her leash on to go back up the long stairway, and she said, "Leash? Leash? I don't need no stinkin' leash!" She ran up just ahead of me and went right to the car, jumping in as soon as I opened the door. She was right: she didn't need no stinkin' leash!
Alabama is no doubt hotter and more humid than Michigan, but we've been glad for the cooling waters and breezes of Lake Michigan lately, Dawn. Glad you dropped by to share them!

You know those stations that advertise "All Music All the Time"? Heh heh.
It is always lovely to see Sarah, particularly when she is keeping cool and having a good time.
The other day Miss Sadie surprised me by chasing a stick--into the Bay! She is generally not interested in sticks or swimming. Go figure.

Smile! I'm in Alabama and your photos of Lake Michigan cooled me off! LOL
