Sarah didn't have any dogs to play with, just her old human mom and dad, but we did go out for a walk in the snow with her and threw sticks for her to run after, and she seemed to enjoy that. Off and on today I've been reading about Loreen's lake trek--and, of course, I came upon GERRY and SADIE and the COWBOY! When I got to the U.P. section, David persuaded me to read to him, and we've just crossed over into Wisconsin. The cranberry-orange-walnut relish was delicious, too, alongside roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and gravy and some bright green broccoli.P. J.
